Can I wash my HoudiniMe® babywrap in the washing machine?

We recommend to simply wash with similar colours up to 40°degrees with fine wash, no softener and no tumble dry. Make sure there are no buttons or zippers in the same washing load to avoid damage to the fibers.

Mit ähnlichen Farben bis 40°Grad im Feinwaschgang in der Waschmaschine waschen, ohne Weichspüler und ohne Trockner. Achte darauf, das keine Knöpfe oder Reißverschlüsse in der Waschladung sind, die das Tragetuch beschädigen könnten. Am besten in einen Wäschbeutel oder eine Kissenhülle stecken.

 

How long and how heavy is a HoudiniMe® babywrap?

Our HoudiniMe® babywraps are 5m long (+/-5%) and fit from sizes XS to XL. The HoudiniMe® babywrap is very light (380-400gr) but offers a safe and strong hold.

Please note that after the first wearing the fiber gets up to 5% longer because of its elastic benefits. Make sure to reposition your basic tie.

Unsere HoudiniMe® Babytragetücher sind ca. 5m (+/-5%) und passen Trägern von der Größe XS-XL. Das HoudiniMe® Babytragetuch ist darüber hinaus äußerst leicht und dünn (380-400gr) aber bietet dennoch einen sicheren, starken Halt. Nach dem ersten Tragen kann sich das Tuch sich aufgrund der elastischen Eigenschaften um ca. 5% dehnen, daher bitte regelmäßig die WIckelkreuztrageposition überprüfen und ggf. anpassen.

 

What material is the HoudiniMe® babywrap made of?

We are using 100% Lenzing MicroModal® - no cotton - no elasthan - no blend!

From local beech trees harvested, sustainable produced, fair woven and dyed in Austria. Professionally sewed in Hamburg.

 

What is Lenzing MicroModal®?

The fibers are produced using Edelweiss® fiber technology. Edelweiss stands for a "symbiotic" production process. Thus production can be done while going easy on energy and other resources. Lenzing Modal® fibers are extracted from beechwood. The birch tree is quite unique and has grown in Europe for a very long time. Directly from beechwood forests, Lenzing Modal® fibers give each and every textile a natural image. Lenzing Modal® fibers from Lenzing are like the Edelweiss flower: made in Austria, pure and natural. Full integration at the Lenzing site in Austria makes it possible to produce the fiber in an environmentally sound way due to the generation of excess energy and the recovery of component parts of the wood. Even pulp production at Lenzing is self-sufficient in terms of energy and is an important supplier of energy for the entire operation.
